Do I qualify for a free breast screening?

You may be able to qualify for a free breast exam and mammogram through California’s Cancer Detection Program - Every Woman Counts (CDP-EWC): 

• Are 40 years old or older
• Have low income (EWC Income Criteria)
• Have no or limited insurance
• Are not getting these services through Medi-Cal or another government-sponsored program
• Live in California

You will be referred to participating physicians in your neighborhood. If you do not qualify for CDP, you may be referred to other low-income, low-cost screening programs in your area.
